The red markers are our first planned destinations:
Washington DC –> San José, Costa Rica –> Santiago, Chile –> Buenos Aires, Argentina
We thought Mexico City would be our first stop, but timing with this plan would leave us approaching Argentina in our North American summer. As it is, I can barely handle 11 degrees Farenheight over on the East Coast.
Jon keeps reminding me of a saying from Norway:
There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing.
It’s true, but I still can’t imagine Patagonia in the middle of winter.
So far, nothing has been planned outside of our flights, but I’m excited to see my best friend/roommate through college in Costa Rica!
